Currently, he is working as an associate professor of the Department of Uzbek Literature, Faculty of Philology, Bukhara State University.
As part of his scientific work, he has published 2 monographs, more than 50 scientific articles, and participated in republican scientific journals with more than 30 scientific articles and more than 40 theses during the years 2001-2022. His articles have been published in foreign magazines in Europe, Russia, Ukraine, and London. There are 2 monographs by M. Roziyeva, a study guide entitled "Children's Folklore". He co-authored 2 brochures and 2 methodological manuals and handed them over to university and faculty libraries for students to use.

About the department of primary education theory
The department was opened in 1959 as part of the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education at the same time as the Faculty of Primary Education Methodology. In 1977, the Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education was separated.
In 1977-1986, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Sh.R. Rayhonov, in 1986-1991, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor F.M. Qasimov was appointed as the director. In 1991-1995, the department was headed by associate professor O.R. Rozikov.
In 1981-84, it was headed by K.K. Khairullayev, during 1984-89 by I.I. Shamsiddinov. The subject of mother tongue and its teaching method in the specialty of primary education method is given to this department.
In 1984, the Department of Uzbek Language Theory and Methodology was established. I.I.Shamsiddinov, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, was appointed the head of the department. The Russian language and its teaching methods were also transferred to this department.
Since 1989, this department has been named the basics of mother tongue and speech development. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor O.R. Rozikov was appointed the head of the department.
In 1984, by the order of the rectorate, this department was named the theory and methodology of the mother tongue.
On September 1, 1995, based on the special order of the rectorate, the Pedagogical Training Center was established. According to this order, the Department of Languages was opened at the center. Doctor of philological sciences, professor G'.N. Zikrillayev was appointed as its director. All native language subjects, as well as Russian, Tajik, English, German and French, were transferred to this department.
Starting from the 1994-1995 academic year, a new department was established on the basis of the department, and the pedagogy of preschool education and psychology were transferred to it. In connection with the establishment of the "Pedagogical Training Center" in the 1995-96 academic year, the departments were condensed. For example, the structure of the "Basics of preschool education" department was merged with the structure of the "Methodology of primary education" department, which has been operating as an independent department since 1996, and "Basics of preschool education and primary education" given a name. After all, the Department of "Methodology of Primary Education" has trained many high-quality specialists in its many years of activity.
Since 1999-2000 academic year, the department has been operating under the name "Theory and Methodology of Primary Education". In 2000, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Y.Y. Azimov was appointed the head of the department.
Since 2005, the Department of Languages has been called the Department of Language Theory and Methodology, since October 2006, the Department of Language and Literature. Professor O. Safarov was appointed head of the department.
The department has established scientific relations with other higher educational institutions. Among them are the Institute of Scientific Research of Pedagogical Sciences named after Qori Niyazi, TDPU, Termiz DU, Ko'kan DPI, Navoi DPI Karshi DU and others.
From November 10, 2009, the position of head of the department was assigned to M.M. Tilavova.
On June 30, 2011, by the order of the rector of BukhSU, it was started to be called the department of elementary education, and from then on, the position of the head of the department was assigned to M.M. Tilavova.
From 2012 to 2016, A.R. Hamroyev worked as the head of the department. From September 6 to November 1, 2016, T.R. Choriyev was the head of the department.
From November 1, 2016, Professor Makhmudov Mels Hasanovich, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, was appointed as the head of the Department of Primary and Preschool Education Methodology.
In the 06th meeting of the Bukhara State University Council on March 1, 2018, according to the order 247-Y of 04.04.2018 on making changes to the structure of university faculties and departments, "Pre-school education" Primary education lim" departments. Based on this decision, Professor Makhmudov Mels Hasanovich headed the "Primary Education" department.
From May 29, 2019, changes were made to the "Primary Education" department. On the basis of the order number 475-U of the rector of BuxDU on May 17, 2019, the department was divided into two departments: "Methodology of Primary Education" and "Theory of Primary Education". ” associate professor Roziyeva Mohichehra Yaqubovna, Ph.D., was appointed as the head of the department, and until now she has been contributing to the development of the scientific and pedagogical potential of the department and the strengthening of its material and technical base.

Research activities of the department:
In the academic year 2021-2022, 851 people, including 847 (98.8%) women, are studying in the department's undergraduate education. In the 2021-2022 academic year, the department has 600 bachelor's degree graduates and 23 master's degree students.
The main staff of the department is 13 professors-teachers, including 1 Doctor of Science-Professors, 1 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)-Professor, 4 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)-Associate Professor, 1 Candidate of Science, 2 senior teachers. , and the teacher - 4 people are working. Scientific potential is 54%. The "road map" of the department for scientific research, innovations and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel was developed and approved in the prescribed manner.
The department has formed a system of attracting young people to scientific research, providing personnel for scientific research and innovation activities. In 2022-2023, 3 PhD defenses and 1 DSc defense were held at the department. 1 person was awarded the title of professor. This year, a number of young teachers such as M. Khudoykulova, R. Khalilova, S. Mahmudova defended their dissertations, as well as the announcement of the defense of 1 researcher S. Akramova was published on the OAK website. More PhD and DSc defenses are expected by the end of 2022.
In order to establish innovative cooperative (mutually beneficial) cooperation between science and production, economic contracts totaling 7,000,000 soums were signed by the professors and teachers of the department this year. In 2022, another 7,000 000 soums of economic contracts are expected to be implemented.
In 2021-2022, 16 study guides, 4 textbooks, and 3 monographs were prepared by the professors-teachers of the department. In 2022-2023, 7 study guides, 3 textbooks and 7 monographs are expected to be prepared.
The field of education prepared in the department is 5111700- Since it is primary education and sports-educational work, cooperative relations with general secondary schools in the region have been established, and educational and methodological manuals, problems of the field related articles are being written together. The teachers of the department organize seminars-trainings and open classes in schools based on a regular schedule.
