BUKHARA REGIONAL STAGE OF “IT QUEENS — GIRLS CREATING THE FUTURE” COMPETITION CONCLUDES AT BUKHSU

Bukhara State University hosted the Bukhara regional stage of the innovative “IT Queens — Girls Creating the Future” competition for female university students, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

The competition was designed to foster female students’ interest in information technology, artificial intelligence, robotics and contemporary innovative solutions, showcase their knowledge and potential in the IT sector, and encourage promising ideas and projects.

 

The competition was officially opened by Professor Obidjon Khamidov, Rector of Bukhara State University, who delivered welcoming remarks. The Rector emphasized that information technology, artificial intelligence and digital innovation are increasingly becoming key drivers of societal development. He highlighted the importance of supporting female students’ initiatives in these fields and creating opportunities for them to realize their innovative potential. He also wished all participants every success in the competition.

 

The regional stage brought together talented female students from state higher education institutions across Bukhara Region who had previously won their respective university-level rounds. They presented their innovative ideas and projects to the panel of judges.

 

Through presentations and practical demonstrations, participants showcased the objectives, technical solutions, functionality, innovative features and practical relevance of their projects across the fields of software development, web development, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital education, mechatronics and robotics, smart devices, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

 

The projects were assessed using a 100-point evaluation system, based on criteria including functionality, technical quality, innovation, practical relevance and presentation quality.

 

Competition Winners

Digital Education:
1st place — Azizabonu Azamatova — Bukhara State University

Artificial Intelligence:
1st place — Norjon Fattoyeva — Bukhara State University

Mobile Applications:
1st place — Sitora Raupova — Bukhara State University

Mechatronics and Robotics:
1st place — Zahro Latipova — Bukhara State University

Software Development:
1st place — Ruxshona Rustamova — Bukhara State Technical University

Web Development:
1st place — Dilnura Farxodova — Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute

Cybersecurity:
1st place — Ruxshona Toshpo‘latova — Bukhara State Technical University

Smart Devices and IoT Solutions:
1st place — Marjona Xalilova — Bukhara State Technical University

 

At the conclusion of the competition, the winners and active participants were presented with valuable prizes. The first-place winner in each category earned the right to advance to the national stage of the competition.

 

Notably, Bukhara State University students secured first place in four of the eight categories: Digital Education, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Applications, and Mechatronics and Robotics.

 

The “IT Queens — Girls Creating the Future” competition served as an important platform for female students to demonstrate their capabilities in IT and digital technologies, transform innovative ideas into practical projects, and advance new technology-driven initiatives.
