Today, September 10, Bukhara State University welcomed a delegation from one of Pakistan’s leading higher education institutions, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
The delegation was headed by the Rector of NUST, Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif. The guests were received by the Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov. During the meeting, the parties held a substantive discussion on the university’s activities, its educational and research potential, as well as prospects for further expanding international cooperation.
The two sides discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the universities in the fields of education, science, and innovation. Particular attention was given to academic exchange opportunities for faculty members and students, the implementation of joint research projects, and other promising areas of future cooperation.
As part of the visit, the NUST delegation closely familiarized itself with the activities of the BukhSU Registrar’s Office. The guests were briefed on the modern services available to students, as well as the systems used to organize and manage the educational process.
The delegation also viewed exhibitions, scientific projects, and creative works prepared by students, showing particular interest in the initiatives being implemented at the university and the achievements of its students.
During the visit, the guests were also provided with comprehensive information about the current activities of Bukhara State University, its international partnerships, key research areas, and the opportunities created for students.
The visit marked an important step toward taking academic cooperation between BukhSU and NUST to a new level, promoting the exchange of experience, and implementing promising joint initiatives in the future.
