Bukhara State University hosted a press conference dedicated to the 2026/2027 admission campaign and the organization of professional (creative) entrance examinations. The event was attended by the Rector of the university, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, along with journalists, bloggers, and representatives of regional media outlets.

During the conference, Suxrob Davlatov, Head of the University's Academic and Methodological Department, presented detailed information on the admission quotas, academic programs, and application procedures for the upcoming academic year. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring that professional (creative) entrance examinations are conducted in full compliance with the principles of transparency, fairness, and openness, while providing applicants and their families with convenient and supportive conditions throughout the admission process.

In his address, Rector Obidjon Khamidov emphasized that ensuring effective public oversight of the admission process remains one of the university's highest priorities.

“Our primary objective is to guarantee an impartial assessment of every applicant's knowledge while ensuring complete transparency at every stage of the admission campaign. Close cooperation with the media plays a crucial role in strengthening public confidence in this process,” the Rector stated.

The event concluded with a ceremony honoring a group of journalists and bloggers who have made a significant contribution to providing timely, objective, and comprehensive coverage of the university's activities, higher education reforms, and the admission campaign. On behalf of the university administration, outstanding media representatives were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

The meeting reaffirmed the university's commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with the media and strengthening public awareness of ongoing developments in higher education through transparent and effective communication.
