Bukhara State University hosted the “Graduate–2026” commencement ceremony dedicated to the graduates of the 2025/2026 academic year. The memorable occasion brought together representatives of the Bukhara Regional Administration, rectors of higher education institutions, officials from law enforcement agencies, and members of the wider public to celebrate the achievements of the graduating class.

The ceremony was officially opened by the Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov. In his address, he highlighted the university's recent achievements on the international stage, noting that Bukhara State University had secured a place among the Top 400 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. He also conveyed the congratulatory message of the Governor of the Bukhara Region, Botir Zaripov, extending best wishes to graduates as they embark on their professional careers.

Among the distinguished guests attending the ceremony were Rector Sh. Teshayev of Bukhara State Medical Institute, Rector B. Ma'murov of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Regional Representative of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Amanovna, Head of the Bukhara Regional Office of the Agency for Popularizing Foreign Language Learning under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nozima Xoliqova, Head of the “Muhammad Ismat” Farming Enterprise Muhammad Ahmedov, and other distinguished officials, who presented diplomas to the graduates.

The artistic part of the event featured a vibrant concert programme with musical and vocal performances, creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees. Receiving their diplomas on this memorable day, thousands of graduates took an important step toward their professional future as highly qualified specialists ready to contribute to the continued development of New Uzbekistan.
