An expanded rector’s meeting was held at Bukhara State University under the chairmanship of Rector O. Kh. Khamidov.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to execution discipline at the university, work with youth, activities in the spiritual and educational sphere, as well as ongoing efforts in the academic and methodological processes and the implementation of previously assigned tasks.

Reports were also presented by responsible officials on ensuring students’ social engagement at faculties and departments, the work carried out on the distribution of education grants among first- and second-year students for the 2026/2027 academic year, and the assessment of the social activity index.

The agenda further included matters related to preparing the university’s existing academic programs for comprehensive and specialized accreditation, ensuring the employment of 2024/2025 graduates, monitoring the employment status of 2025/2026 graduates, and identifying needs for admission parameters for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In addition, discussions were held on ensuring student attendance, issues related to contract issuance and payments, as well as the substance and significance of the relevant order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, appropriate instructions were issued on the agenda items, and specific tasks were assigned to responsible officials to ensure their timely and high-quality implementation.
