Rector

The Rector provides overall leadership of the university in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the Charter of the University. The Rector ensures the effective management of the university's educational, scientific, spiritual and educational, financial, economic, and international cooperation activities.

• Ensure the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential decrees and resolutions, and decisions of the Government.
• Organize the training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in accordance with the State Educational Standards.
• Provide overall leadership of the university's educational, scientific, and spiritual-educational activities.
• Coordinate and effectively manage the activities of the university's structural divisions.
• Select personnel, recommend candidates for managerial positions, provide incentives, and ensure the social protection of employees.
• Supervise the efficient use of the university's financial resources and material-technical facilities.
• Promote scientific research, support innovative projects, and strengthen the integration of education, science, and industry.
• Organize the development, translation, and publication of textbooks, teaching materials, and electronic educational resources.
• Introduce modern pedagogical methods and information and communication technologies into the educational process.
• Create favorable educational and social conditions for students, master's students, and researchers.
• Support the professional development and continuous training of the academic staff.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of the quality of education, practical training, and academic activities.
• Organize strategic initiatives for the development of academic programs and specialties.
• Develop marketing activities, analyze labor market demands, and facilitate graduate employment.
• Strengthen the university's material and technical infrastructure and chair the Academic Council.
• Expand international cooperation, attract grants and investments, and implement joint projects.
• Establish effective cooperation with public organizations and partner institutions.
• Ensure the implementation of other duties assigned by the authorized state bodies responsible for higher education management.

The primary objective of the Rector is to ensure the sustainable development of the university, improve the quality of education and research, implement modern management practices, expand international cooperation, and create the necessary conditions for educating highly qualified and competitive professionals.
