“MEDIA WEEK” EVENTS CONTINUE IN BUKHARA

These days, the ancient city of Bukhara is becoming an important platform for modern media dialogue. Within the framework of the “Media Week” project, organized at the initiative of the Content Production Center for Mass Media under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the regional administration, the Youth Affairs Agency, and the Journalists’ Union, seminars, training sessions, and master classes are being conducted for journalists, bloggers, mobilographers, press secretaries, and young content creators.

During the sessions held at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, participants are gaining practical knowledge in strategic communication, media ethics, fact-checking, digital hygiene, the use of artificial intelligence in content production, visual storytelling, editing, and working with social media algorithms.

Alongside the heads of information services of Bukhara State University, Bukhara State Medical Institute, Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Bukhara State Technical University, regional and district administrations, and various organizations, the events are also actively attended by media representatives, television and radio journalists, members of newspaper and magazine editorial boards, editors, bloggers, mobilographers, and employees of regional television channels. More than 60 students and faculty members of the Information Services and Journalism programs of the Faculty of Philology at Bukhara State University are also actively participating in the seminars and training sessions.

The open dialogues and exchange of experience within the framework of the week are contributing to the development of modern approaches in the media sphere, enhancing the culture of working with information, and strengthening the professional media environment. This project serves as an important platform for young journalists and content creators to exchange experience and acquire new knowledge and skills.
