The Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, visited the “Smart District” project’s situation center operating in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, where he became acquainted with the activities of a modern management system based on artificial intelligence technologies.
During the visit, detailed information was provided on the center’s capabilities for real-time monitoring of коммунal services, public safety, and urban infrastructure management.
The rector also reviewed the mechanisms for digitally managing and analyzing the activities of district authorities and related organizations, improving the efficiency of handling citizens’ appeals, as well as rapidly identifying and resolving existing issues.
Particular interest was generated by the project’s experience in monitoring conditions in residential areas and markets, ensuring security through artificial intelligence technologies, and broadly introducing modern digital approaches into urban governance.
The visit was of significant importance in terms of studying advanced digital management practices, implementing them into educational and administrative processes, and improving efficiency through modern technologies.
