Regional Stage of the “Tomaris’ Successors” Sports Competition Held at a High Level at Bukhara State University

The regional stage of the “Tomaris’ Successors” sports competition among female students of higher education institutions was successfully held at the Universal Sports Complex of Bukhara State University in an energetic and highly competitive atmosphere.

 

The competition was organized to enhance the physical capacity of female students, increase their interest in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop teamwork, agility, and speed.

 

The opening ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Rector of the university, Obidjon Khamidov, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of supporting female students’ participation in sports, ensuring their physical and духовное development, and fostering a healthy and active lifestyle.

 

The event was organized in cooperation with the university’s Women’s Affairs Department and the Faculty of Sports and Arts. It brought together teams that had won the qualifying rounds from Bukhara State University, Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Bukhara State Technical University, and Bukhara State Medical Institute.

 

According to the program, the teams competed in the following categories: “Team Presentation,” “We Support a Healthy Lifestyle,” “First Aid,” and “Cycling.” Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated strong physical fitness, practical skills, teamwork, agility, and quick thinking. The first aid and sports-related tasks particularly highlighted their level of preparation.

 

Following intense and competitive rounds, the jury announced the results:

1st place — Bukhara State University team
2nd place — Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute team
2nd place — Bukhara State Technical University team
3rd place — Bukhara State Medical Institute team

 

The results showed that the participants possess not only athletic abilities but also essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and the ability to make quick and effective decisions.

 

Overall, the regional stage of the “Tomaris’ Successors” competition played a significant role in fostering a healthy competitive environment among female students, encouraging their active involvement in sports and dynamic lifestyles, and strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions.
