The event was opened by the Rector of the university, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, who highlighted the scholar’s significant contribution not only to the academic environment of Bukhara but also to the development of Uzbek philology nationwide. Particular emphasis was placed on his many years of dedicated teaching and research, his commitment to mentoring young scholars, and his bold engagement with key issues in literary studies.

Speakers at the event included Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Abror Juraev, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Bakhtiyor Qobilov, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Guli Toirova, Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature Dilshod Rajabov, Head of the regional branch of the Union of Journalists G. Ibrohimova, and renowned writer, recipient of the “Do‘stlik” Order, Jura Fozil.

The central part of the event featured presentations of Professor Murodov’s recent publications. The session was moderated by Shodmon Sulaymon, Editor-in-Chief of the newspapers “Buxoronoma” and “Bukharskiy Vestnik,” and Head of the regional branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.

The following works were presented:

— Murodov’s collections “Eternity and Literature,” “Essence and Literature,” and the poetry collection “The Notebook of Love”;
— “An Explanatory Dictionary of Structural Literary Terms,” co-authored with his student M. Farmonova;
— “My Destiny Alongside Courage,” dedicated to his scholarly activity;
