A ceremonial opening of the first stage of a three-tier subject Olympiad was held at Bukhara State University for 11th-grade students of general secondary schools and graduates of academic lyceums. The Olympiad covers mathematics, physics, informatics and information technologies, chemistry, and biology.

The event commenced with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The ceremony was opened by Akmal Nazarov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, who conveyed the Rector Obidjon Khamidov’s greetings and best wishes to the participants.

During the ceremony, organizers provided detailed information on the rules and procedures of the Olympiad, assessment criteria, and measures taken to ensure full transparency throughout all stages of the competition. At present, talented participants from various regions of the country have been assigned to designated groups and placed in specially prepared classrooms, where they have begun demonstrating their knowledge and academic potential.

It is worth noting that participants who achieve outstanding results will be granted the opportunity to enroll at Bukhara State University on a preferential basis.
