On the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the granting of the status of the state language to the soul of our nation, our national pride – Uzbek language, «October 21 – Uzbek language holiday», I sincerely congratulate the professors, teachers, employees, students and all our compatriots of our university.
The beautiful words that express the identity of each nation are expressed in its language. Language – part of the image of the nation. The culture, traditions, lifestyle, and history of the people. Language is the symbol and property of the state. Preservation and development of the language means the rise of the nation. Preservation of the wealth of the language means preserving the future of this nation. A person who understands his language will be attentive to his country. As Hazrat Alisher Navoi said, "The lock of the heart is language, and the key to the heart is words."
It is the filial duty of every Uzbek to cherish our linguistic wealth, which has been ingrained in our blood by our motherland, to the best of his or her ability.
Today, our beloved Uzbekistan is rapidly taking high places in the ratings of the world's fastest-growing countries in every field. The national language plays a major role in the development of the country and society. Every nation and people cannot be imagined without a national language. Because the national language reflects the spirit of the nation, its rich historical image, national values, and fixed beliefs. Therefore, preserving and further strengthening the status and development of the native language is considered an important factor in the development of the country.
Because, our native language is the soul of our nation, the mirror of our history, the basis of our national spirituality. Therefore, it is the sacred duty and obligation of all of us to cherish our native language, to show due respect and honor!
