Dedicated training on social aspects of Sustainability

Bukhara State University provides dedicated training on the social aspects of sustainability through a structured e-learning framework designed for both faculty and professional staff members. The institution has integrated these training programs into its digital infrastructure to ensure that personnel are equipped with the eight cross-cutting competencies required to advance the 2030 Agenda. This includes focused modules on equity and inclusion in education, which guide staff in identifying and addressing marginalization within their specific contexts.

The training curricula specifically address the intersection of social welfare and institutional governance. For instance, the "Equity and Inclusion in Education" course expects staff to implement innovative approaches to equitable learning and advocate for more inclusive practices across the university. Additionally, the "Tech for Good" module ensures that staff members understand the non-neutrality of technology, training them to recognize and mitigate bias in the implementation of information and communication technologies.

Furthermore, the university utilizes a comprehensive sustainability assessment to evaluate essential change-making skills such as integrated problem-solving and collaborative competencies. This ensures that staff members possess the necessary knowledge of sustainable development and the overarching framework of the SDGs to guide their daily professional activities. These initiatives are documented across the university's sustainability portal, which tracks the institution's progress and commitment to social equity, gender equality, and quality education.
