Faculty of Pedagogy

 In September 1957, the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education was established at the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Natural Sciences.

 In the 1958-1959 academic year, the department was transformed into a special faculty and the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education was opened.  The department was headed by KH Khairulayev.  By the end of 1977, the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education was divided into two departments: the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education and the Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education.

 In August 1962, the Department of Music was established at the Faculty of Methodology of Primary Education.

 From 1977 to 1983, the Department of Music was a separate faculty.

 In 1966, a new Department of Physical Education was opened on the basis of the faculty, and in 1968 it was separated into a separate Faculty of Physical Culture.

 In the 1972-1973 academic year, a new Department of Drawing and Drawing was opened on the basis of the faculty.  In January 1975, the department was renamed the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Drawing.

 In January 1984, the Faculty of Music was reunited with the same faculty and renamed the Faculty of Pedagogy, Methodology and Music of Primary Education.

 In 1991, the Department of Preschool Education was opened on the basis of the faculty.

 In September 1995, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Military Education was merged with the Faculty of Primary Music and became known as the Pedagogical Training Center.

 On September 1, 1998, the name of the Pedagogical Training Center was abolished and renamed the Faculty of Pedagogy and Physical Culture.

 According to the Regulation "On the faculty of the higher education institution" approved by the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2011 No 487 and the rector of the university 473  - According to his order (10.12.2011) the Faculty of Pedagogy was established.

 For the past 57 years, the faculty has led:

 -1958-1959 Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor OR Rasulova.

 -1959-1977 Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Teacher of Uzbekistan KH Khairullayev.

 -1977-81 - Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor II Shamsiddinov.

 -1981-86 Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor M.H. Mahmudov.

 -1986-92 Candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Sh.R.Rayhonov.

 From 1993 to 2010, the faculty was headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor MH Mahmudov.

 -2010-2011 headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor BR Adizov.

 -2011-2017 Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Psychological Sciences Sh.R.Barotov.

 - Since March 2017, the faculty is headed by Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor EM Mukhtorov.

 Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education

 About the faculty.  In order to ensure the implementation of the order of the rector of Bukhara State University dated April 2, 2018 №236-U and the decision of the 6th meeting of the University Council on March 1, 2018, as well as optimizing the structure of faculties and departments of the university, the Faculty of Pedagogy was divided into two.  and “Preschool and Primary Education” faculties.  On the basis of the department of "Methods of primary and preschool education" the departments of "Preschool education" and "Primary education" were established and attached to the faculty of "Preschool and primary education".  By the order of the rector of Bukhara State University dated May 17, 2019 476-U on the basis of the department of "Primary Education" departments "Theory of Primary Education" and "Methods of Primary Education" were established.

 Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Bakhshillo Juraevich Umarov headed the faculty from April 6, 2018 to January 2020, and from February 24, 2020 to the present day, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Kahramon Rakhimboevich Tukhsanov.

 Currently, the faculty has three departments: "Preschool Education", "Theory of Primary Education" and "Methods of Primary Education".  The faculty has 118 professors and teachers teaching 2152 students.  Among them are two doctors of sciences, professors, 24 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 12 senior teachers, 68 teachers.  The scientific potential is 36%.

Achievements at the faculty

 In the 2020-2021 academic year, the faculty published 157 international articles, 141 articles in the journals of the HAC, and 2463 citations to the articles.  The number of monographs is 42, the number of copyright certificates is 15, the number of published textbooks is 25, the number of textbooks is 30.

 The Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education is in constant cooperation with foreign universities and professors.  As a practical manifestation of these contacts, three foreign professors and teachers taught online classes to Russian groups at the faculty, and 27 foreign students also study at the faculty.  In addition, 133 students of the faculty participated in scientific or educational projects (foreign, joint) at international conferences and seminars, professors who participated in scientific or educational projects (foreign, joint) at international conferences and seminars  -Teachers are 110 people.

 The team organized three conferences.  In particular, the conferences are organized at one international and two national levels.  “Innovative Cluster of Primary Education and Digital Education: Needs, Needs, Outcomes” (Republican Scientific-Practical Conference).

 Significant progress has also been made in working with schools.  In particular, the branches of the departments of the faculty operate in the 29th comprehensive school in Bukhara and the 5th secondary school in Bukhara district, and several schools in the region, including 36, 50 in Bukhara district.  - Cooperation with schools, 18th school of Jondor district, 46th school of Peshku district.

 As a result of these contacts, the Olympiad "KNOWLEDGE COMPETITION", organized by the team of the Department of Methods of Primary Education and the Department of Public Education of Bukhara district among primary school students, was organized for schoolchildren.  was able to contribute greatly to the increase of interest.  At the initiative of the teacher of the department M.H.Khakimova in the 14th school of Romitan district at the end of the "Knowledge Awareness" in mathematics, a total of 15 students were given money and valuable gifts.

 During the academic year, the faculty held 270 spiritual and educational events.  Our students took an active part in university, city, regional and national events.  In particular, Salohiddinova Malika, a first-year student of the faculty, won the first place in the essay competition among students on the topic "Youth against destructive ideas."  With the participation of experts in the field, roundtables were held at the faculty and TTJ on topical issues such as "Crime Prevention and Crime Prevention" and "Environmental cleanliness - a guarantee of human health."  The students of the faculty won the final stage of the QVZ competition "Governor's Cup", which took place in the castle "ARK".
