About the work done by the staff and students trade union committee of Bukhara State University in 2018 information

          The Bukhara State University Staff and Student Trade Union Committee has done some work in 2018.

              The trade union committee monitored the team's compliance with labor laws, and the accuracy and timeliness of employee complaints and appeals. Helped to increase staff literacy on the most pressing issues of legal and market relations. Employees were assisted in finding employment based on their profession, specialization, qualifications and employment contract.

         Bukhara State University has a six-day working week. The general day off for all employees (except duty) is Sunday.

        Salary deadlines: Twice a month. All employees' salaries (70) are 100% transferred to their plastic cards. In 2018, there was no case of job indebtedness at the university. When the university's tariff rates and salaries are increased, the employee's salary is recalculated at the new rate for all working days during the same period. The university has a total of 14 disabled professors and staff, 10 of whom receive a 100% stipend and 4 a 50% stipend. The performance of labor duties by the employees was ensured in accordance with the employment contracts, career instructions and the Charter of the University. In 2018, the rector of the university and the trade union committee awarded a total of about 600 professors, teachers and staff of the university with certificates of honor and letters of appreciation.

         There were no reports of injuries or deaths during the reporting period. The university has established a system of continuous monitoring of the compliance of all employees with the requirements of the rules and regulations of labor protection by representatives of labor protection and members of the commission. The state of labor protection and the implementation of the labor protection agreement were monitored. Based on the results of the inspection conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Commission and the Commission, the timely implementation of the recommendations made by the heads of farms to the heads of departments was constantly monitored.

              Existing deficiencies in the workplace, especially in the areas of occupational safety and health, have been addressed and implemented by the employer. The trade union committee defended the members' right to work. Explanatory and organizational work was carried out among the members of the trade union to strengthen labor discipline in each department, and measures were taken to prevent situations that could lead to conflicts. The Occupational Safety and Health Commissioner provided the administration with the necessary conditions for public oversight and allocated at least 2 hours of work per week, while maintaining an average salary.

               On the implementation of the State Program "Year of Active Entrepreneurship, Support of Innovative Ideas and Technologies": In connection with the 26th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and January 14 "Defender of the Fatherland Day" in the community and Bukhara State University Invited senior male faculty and staff, celebrations were organized and souvenirs were presented.

         On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the end of military operations against international terrorism and religious extremism in Afghanistan, 7 international staff members of Bukhara State University were awarded valuable gifts by the university trade union committee.

    The trade union committee used the existing legal framework to further improve the protection of the social rights and guarantees of young workers. Targeted efforts have been made to ensure that minors are recruited in accordance with ILO Conventions 138 and 182, and that severe forms of child labor are prohibited.

         On the occasion of the Independence Day on September 1 of this year, a message was received from the homes of the elderly and the disabled. A total of $ 2 million will be provided to children from 50 low-income families. soums worth of training equipment were delivered.
