Dear colleagues, faculty members, staff, and students,
I warmly congratulate you on the upcoming 2026 New Year! May the new year bring us all health, peace, family happiness, and outstanding achievements.
The concluding 2025 year was of special significance in the history of Bukhara State University. The university celebrated its 95th anniversary and marked the year as “Quality, Digitalization, and International Recognition.” Significant achievements were recorded across all areas of the university’s work.
Currently, the university has 8 faculties and 34 departments, with more than 19,000 students enrolled. Educational programs were updated, and 25 new specialties were introduced in IT, artificial intelligence, translation studies, arts, and other fields. The scientific potential of faculty members increased by 66%, and international and young talented specialists joined the university team.
The educational process is organized according to international standards: 28 academic groups are fully taught in English, and 16 programs received international accreditation from ACQUIN, strengthening the global recognition of BukhDU diplomas.
In 2025, the university fully implemented the “Smart University” model: 86% of academic and administrative processes were digitized, and robotics clusters and AI laboratories were established. Modern facilities such as Face-ID systems and expanded Wi-Fi networks were introduced for students.
By the end of the year, the university team achieved historic success internationally: at the ELO International English Olympiad in Amman, Jordan, the BukhDU team won the SUPER CUP.
Additionally, our athletes won hundreds of medals in international, Asian, and national competitions. The football team secured a place in the Pro League, while the volleyball team became national champions.
I express my sincere gratitude to the entire university team for their dedicated work in advancing Bukhara State University. May the upcoming year be one of new horizons, remarkable achievements, and sustainable progress!
