Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Uzbekistan Tamer Hammad visited Bukhara State University

An important international meeting was held at Bukhara State University. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tamer Hammad, and the counselor of the embassy, ​​Hanan Bashary, visited the university. The purpose of the visit was to expand educational, scientific and cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt, to launch joint projects, teacher and student exchange programs.

 

At the meeting, representatives of the university led by the rector of BukhSU, doctor of economics, professor Obidjon Khamidov, including vice-rector for international cooperation Abror Jorayev, dean of the Faculty of History and Law Bobir Namozov, "Al-Azhar" University professor Ayman Usman and a number of officials took part. During the meeting, information was provided about the international cooperation projects implemented at BukhSU, memorandums concluded with foreign universities, and the conditions created for foreign students. During the dialogue, the parties discussed the issues of introducing academic exchange programs with Egyptian higher education institutions, strengthening cooperation in scientific research.

 

Ambassador Tamer Hammad praised the international potential of Bukhara State University and expressed his desire to establish relations with major Egyptian universities, to implement joint initiatives in the fields of culture and education. This visit is another important stage in BukhSU's activities in the field of international cooperation, and serves to further strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and Egypt in the fields of education, science and culture.
