The first meeting of the Bukhara State University Council for the 2025/2026 academic year was held.
At the beginning of the meeting, faculty members who had received academic titles and degrees confirmed by the Higher Attestation Commission, as well as those who had achieved success in various competitions, were awarded diplomas and letters of appreciation.
The meeting was opened by Rector of Bukhara State University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Obidjon Khamidov. He spoke about the progress of planned initiatives, ways to further improve the quality and effectiveness of the university’s work, and upcoming events. In particular, he emphasized preparations for celebrating the 34th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the motto “For the Homeland, for the Nation, for the People!” He also presented the Council’s work plan for the 2025/2026 academic year and announced the approval of the new membership of both the University Council and the Faculty Councils.
At the conclusion of the meeting, key tasks were set to ensure the effective implementation of initiatives and to further enhance the university’s overall performance.
