In connection with the upcoming 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, scheduled to be held in Samarkand in 2025, an academic and cultural event titled “Echoes of Bukhara: Day of Culture” was organized at Muscat University in the Sultanate of Oman.
The event was jointly organized by Bukhara State University, the Bukhara Regional Government, and the Bukhara Regional Branch of the Uzbek State Philharmonic Society, in collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
A cultural exhibition showcasing elements of Uzbek national handicrafts and miniature art was held at Muscat University, where a special section called the "Bukhara Corner" was set up.
Additionally, representatives from Muscat University and Bukhara State University discussed initiatives for student and faculty exchange, as well as the development of collaboration in the fields of science, tourism, and economics.
