As you know, Bukhara resident Sherzod Namozov, who defended the honor of our country in the men's para judo J2 class -60 kg weight category at the Paris Paralympic Games, defeated Georgian Zurab Zurabian in the final match for the gold medal and received the honorable title of two-time Paralympic Games winner.
Today, two-time Paralympic Games champion Sherzod Namozov was solemnly welcomed in his hometown of Bukhara. An event was organized on this occasion at Bukhara State University. It was attended by representatives of the regional administration, coaches, athletes, and the general public.
