A guide for students

 1. A person admitted to study by the order of the rector of Bukhara State University is a student of Bukhara State University.  The student is given a student ID and a rating (or test) notebook.

 2. Bukhara State University has secondary (complete) general, vocational secondary technical (technical schools, educational institutions) and secondary special, professional (academic lyceums and vocational colleges) education  State grants and payment in accordance with the "Regulations on the procedure and rules of admission of students to higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan" on a competitive basis on the basis of applications of individuals  accepted on a contract basis.

 3. Students of Bukhara State University have the following rights:

  acquisition of knowledge in accordance with the level of modern development of science, technology and culture;

  Participate in the discussion and resolution of important issues of the university, including through public organizations and the governing body of the university;

  Participate in competitions in international and national funds to continue their education in prestigious universities of developed countries in their chosen specialty:

  free access to the services of the university library, information fund, educational, scientific, medical and other departments;

  Participate in all types of research work, conferences, symposiums, publish their work, including in university publications;

  mastering on a contract basis any other subjects taught at the university, in addition to the disciplines taught in the chosen field (specialty);

  appeal against orders and directives of the university administration in the manner prescribed by law;

  training in military specialties in the manner prescribed by law;

  Use other rights granted to the university, which do not contradict the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 4. Full-time students are provided with scholarships in the manner and amount established by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry;  Students have the right to receive state scholarships named after the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, named after celebrities, as well as scholarships assigned to legal entities and individuals on the basis of the relevant Regulations.

 In case of medical indications and other exceptional cases, academic leave is granted in the manner prescribed by the university.

 First-year students are granted academic leave in exceptional cases, strictly on an individual basis.

 In accordance with the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, full-time students have the opportunity to defer conscription during their studies at the university.

 Students in need of accommodation are provided with a place in the dormitory of the university that meets the sanitary norms and regulations.  The amount of payment for communal services to students in the dormitory is determined in accordance with the law.  In the presence of students in need of accommodation, the use of the student dormitory area for other purposes (rent, other arrangements) is not allowed.

 Full-time students are allowed to work in their spare time at the university, as well as elsewhere under a contract of employment.  This work is not a substitute under labor law.

 In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bukhara State University may establish other rights for students.

 5. If a student is expelled on his / her own application or for valid reasons, on what grounds (free or paid - contract) he / she studied for 5 years before expulsion from school?  has the right to re-enroll on that basis.  The reinstatement and training of persons expelled from the university for unjustified reasons is carried out only on a fee-for-service basis.  Fees - Students expelled due to non-compliance with the terms of the contract may be reinstated by the order of the rector of the university in accordance with the decision of the Commission on resettlement and rehabilitation.  The procedure for reinstatement of students is determined by the authorized state body for education.

 Students of Bukhara State University have the right to transfer (resume) to other universities.  It is not possible to transfer (reinstate) students from non-accredited higher education institutions to Bukhara State University.

 The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall determine the procedure and conditions for the transfer (reinstatement) of students from one accredited higher education institution to another.

 6. Students of Bukhara State University must acquire the knowledge provided for in the educational programs and curriculum of higher education, complete all types of assignments in a timely manner and comply with the Charter, internal regulations of Bukhara State University, the rules of student housing.

 Involvement of students in activities not related to the educational process at the expense of study time is prohibited, except as provided by the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 7. The following disciplinary sanctions may be imposed on students of the University in this Regulation: imprisonment, deprivation of a scholarship for a certain period, expulsion from the university.

 Students must acquire knowledge, complete all types of assignments provided for in the curriculum and educational standards, comply with the Charter of the University, the internal rules of the university and the rules of community life.

 Students who fail to meet the requirements of the curriculum for valid reasons will be given the opportunity to pay off academic debts before the start of the new academic year.  Students who do not master the scope of vocational education programs established in accordance with state educational standards within the specified period will be expelled from the university.

 Disciplinary sanctions shall be applied not later than one month after the detection of the behavior and not later than six months after the commission of the act, regardless of the time of the student's illness or vacation.

 Students may not be expelled during illness, vacation, academic leave, or maternity leave.

 8. Privileges provided by Articles 218, 257 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan for students who successfully study at Bukhara State University in special forms of distance learning (additional leave with or without pay, higher  travel to and from the educational institution, etc.).
