History of the Department of World History
The Department of World History is the same age as the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute. In 1930 , that is , the historical date when the institute started its work, it was established under the leadership of Associate Professor A. Amirkhanov under the name of the Department of General History. The Department of World History is also part of the institute such as renamings, divisions, mergers, such as a number of senior departments
not outside the processes. It was impossible not to influence the activities of the department, such as the needs and circumstances of historical stages. Since 1935, the General History Department has been named the Socio-Economic Department. In 1938, two independent departments: "Marxism-Leninism" and "General History" were established on the basis of this department. By 1979, the "General History" department was divided into the "History of the USSR" and "General History" departments. Such scientists as professor N. Kozhin, M. Volodarsky, associate professor G. Emil'yanenko served in the department of history. To the future historians, among the well-known academicians in the republic, Ya. Gulomov, correspondent member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan O. Eshonov, academician A. Muhammadjonov, professors: V. Shishkin, P. Soliev, associate professors: N. Malikov , A. Hamroev, I. Tahiri, etc. gave lessons in 1930-1950. In the years before the Second World War, dozens of dedicated teachers, such as N. Oripov, Ya. Kizbaev, H. Hakimov, MG'ulomov, M. Kabanov, Z. Sharipov, A. Samadov worked. In 1950-1990 prominent scientists at the departments include F. Qasimov, A. Zaripov, N. Rahmonov, N. Yoldoshev, O. Rahimov, T. Bobomurodov, J. Barakaev, U. Temirov; teachers H. Hakimov, YA. Kizbaev, M. Ahrorova
it is possible to note separately the activities of Since the 70s of the last century, the late scientist, doctor of history, Professor Farhod Kasimov (1941-2006) contributed greatly to strengthening the scientific, educational and methodological processes in the departments. This knowledgeable historian gathered around him disciplined, devoted to his profession, demanding young people with a high motivation to conduct scientific research. Because of this, on the eve of independence, a scientist and a skillful person with unlimited devotion to his profession at the faculty
a united team of pedagogues was formed. In the history of the department, Z. Amitin-Shapiro published the first scientific book on the history of a small number of nations in Central Asia in the 1930s, and in 1940-1960, archaeologist T. Gelak conducted scientific research on the ancient monuments of Bukhara. R. Karimov was the first in the history of the department to defend his candidate's thesis on the history of the construction of higher schools in Uzbekistan. Associate professor N. Yoldashev, candidate of history, who is well versed in Arabic spelling and Persian-Tajik language, created a number of books and articles about the history of holy places in Bukhara in the 1990s and at the beginning of the 21st century. Thanks to his selfless and painstaking scientific service, the people of Uzbekistan became aware of the lives and teachings of hundreds of people who rose to the level of saints in Bukhara. J. Barakaev, Candidate of History, Associate Professor, gave information about the contribution of the working people of Uzbekistan to the material and spiritual culture in his scientific works. The first year of our independence, 1991, was a good year for Bukhara history researchers. S.Raupov, A.Jumaev, U.Rashidov and Sh.Hayitov, among the teachers who worked at the department in October-December 1991, successfully defended their candidate theses.
In 1992, the number of historians expanded, and two more candidates of science (Umid Hamidovich Temirov - may God have mercy on him and Yoldosh Hazratovich Haydarovlar) joined them. The scope of scientific research expanded, in 1994 T. Rahmonov, 1995
In 1997, the scientist M. Qurbonova, and in 1997 R. Qilichev, researchers received the scientific degree of candidate of historical sciences.
During the years of independence, the scientific community of the republic recognized the teacher and trainer, doctor of history, professor F. Kasimov as a great scientist who was able to create a school of history in Bukhara. It is noteworthy that in the first five years of independence (1991-1995), 4 students of F. Kasimov achieved the scientific degree of candidate of historical sciences. The scientific activity of F. Kasimov, who was the leading teacher of young historical scientists from Bukhara, acquired a new meaning and scientific spirit during the years of independence. Otakhan's desire to re-think his scientific research conducted before independence at the level of independence requirements, to convey to the scientific community his previously unspeakable and forbidden thoughts is evident in his researches, and this has come true. "History of the Republic of Bukhara" (Bukhara, 1996), "The Drama of the Revolution - the Truth of History" (Bukhara, 1997), "Independence and Historical Memory" aimed at studying the history of the Bukhara People's Soviet Republic (BSSR existed from 1920-1924) (Bukhara, 2006) and dozens of historiographical articles were important in enriching the spiritual treasure of Uzbekistan and Bukhara historiography. In 2004, the republican "Fan" publishing house published the scientist's book "V plenu ilyuziy" (Religious fundamentalism - ugroza miru i stabil`nosti). In this monograph, published in co-authorship with R. Almeev, the historical roots and essence of religious extremism were thoroughly studied scientifically. In the work of the scientist who founded the scientific school in Bukhara, the incomparable contribution of the ancient and eternal Bukhara to the world civilization has a worthy place. His meaningful articles, books and pamphlets written with scientific passion about the unread pages of Bukhara Sharif serve to convey the history of the city to today's generation in a fluent, simple language.     His book "Bukhara in the Age of the Timurids" (Bukhara, 1996) was written as a tribute to the 660th anniversary of Amir Temur, celebrated internationally, and "Bukhara-Paris: Centuries" as a gift to the 2500th anniversary of our hometown Bukhara (celebrated in 1997). "Sadosi" (Bukhara, 1997, in Uzbek and French) was created. In December 2006, after the cruel death of Professor F. Kasimov, the leader of Bukhara historians, there was a gap in the ranks of scientists with the scientific degree of doctor of historical sciences . In 2007, associate professor H. Toraev and in 2009 SH. Hayitov received the scientific degree of doctor of historical sciences. The works and articles of one of the eminent scientists, Ahmad Jumaev, devoted to the issues of ethnography of Uzbekistan and Bukhara, were highly appreciated by experts in this field in the Republic and abroad. A. Jumaev's pamphlets published in 1991-2010, such as "Bukhara oasis Uzbek and Tajik rituals" (T., 1991), "Circumcision wedding rituals" (Bukhara, 1994), "The first historian of the world" (Bukhara, 2008) , "Balogardon", "Kaltachapo'shon", "Composition of the population of the Bukhara oasis at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century" were a worthy contribution to the spiritual treasure of the scientific development of ethnology. Candidate of historical sciences, associate professor O. Sirojev took the lead in his scientific research on the topic "Bukhara during the Second World War". In the years of independence, the scientist wrote "Uzbek-language press during the war years" (Bukhara, 1991), "Heroes of the Soviet Union from Bukhara", (Bukhara, 1993), "Bukhara's contribution to the victory over the German-Nazi invaders" (T., 1994). , wrote books such as "Bukhara devotees" (Bukhara, 1995) and a number of articles related to the front. Candidate of historical sciences, associate professor U. Rashidov (19 ...-20..) also directed his scientific research to the solution of current and periodic problems. Based on rich archival sources and historical documents, the scientist created scientific works and articles about the history of the armed struggle for freedom and independence in 1917-1935 against the Soviet regime due to independence.
U. Rashidov's "People's Republic of Bukhara" (Bukhara, 2003), "Invasion of Bukhara and the struggle against the Soviet regime" (Bukhara, 2008), "Political movements and struggles in Bukhara at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries" (Bukhara, 2009; professor D .co-authored with Alimova).
attracted history buffs. A number of the scientist's articles are devoted to the unread pages of the complex and controversial history of Bukhara in the 1920s. In 2009, SH. Hayitov successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the Specialized Council of the Institute of History of the RFA on the topic "History of Uzbek emigration in the 20th century" History of Uzbekistan started conducting research in a completely new direction in science.
The scientist's "Uzbeks abroad" (T.: Fan; 1992), "The history of Uzbek emigration (1917-1991 years)" (T.: Abu press consult, 2008), "Strong as steel, eternal as maple (Bukhara : Durdona, 2014), his books and hundreds of articles became a spiritual treasure added to the development of the science of history. Sh. Hayitov participated in a number of international scientific conferences and gave lectures on the problems of migration, diaspora and the history of emigration. K. Rahmonov, one of the scientists of the department, took the issues of source studies of the press of the USSR era in the 20s of the 20th century as the topic head. K. Rahmonov "The People's Republic of Bukhara and Germany: historical scenes of cooperation" (co-authored by T., "Fan", 2004), "History of the BSR in the press pages" (T.: Abu Press Consult, 2013), "The world fame of Bukhara and the Bukharians (co-authored, -Tashkent. "Navroz" publishing house, 2020. -205 pages), monographs entitled "Bukhara press devotees (Book 1)" (Bukhara-2022, 112 pages)), "In the teaching of history application of innovation and interactive methods" (Bukhara, 2020, 97 pages), "Actual problems of press history in Turkestan (1870-1924 years)" (Bukhara, 2022, 186 pages) application of innovation and interactive methods in teaching" (Bukhara-2022, 112 pages), lesson development on the topic "Germany in 1918-1939" (Bukhara-2019, 29 pages), "1918 -Lesson development on the topic "France in 1939" (Bukhara-2020. 22 pages), lesson development on the topic "Turkey in 1918-1939" (Bukhara year 2021. 26 pages). Today, Doctor of History (DSc) Oybek Rasulovich Rashidov works as the head of the department.
