IBROHIM HAQQULOV (professor)
Ibrahim Hakkulov, a doctor of philological sciences and professor, has made a worthy contribution to the development of Uzbek literary criticism and literary criticism.
Ibrahim Choriyevich Hakkulov was born in 1949 in the village of Talija, Shafirkan district, Bukhara region, in an educated family. His interest in literature began in a family environment, and the scholar, who grew up hearing the ghazals of Navoi, Sufi Allahyar, and Yassavi from his grandmother, also received excellent grades in high school. In 1970 he graduated from the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Philology. He worked for the district newspaper "Shofirkon Haqiqati" (1970-1972). He wrote his first literary articles, such as "Always awake like a river ...", "The heart of the river is a poet", "Mevlana Ashraf", "The famous writer", "Dear friendship", "Dovruqli baxshi". Since 1973, he has devoted his entire life and activity to the Alisher Navoi Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He went through a scientific and creative path from a simple laboratory assistant to the head of the department. In 1975 he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on "Rubai in Uzbek classical literature", in 1995 on "Formation and development of Uzbek mystical poetry." Currently, he is the head of the department at the Institute of Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The scholar's "Rubai in Uzbek literature", "Uvaysi poetry" (1982), "Badii soz shukuhi" (1987), "Zanjirband sher kashida" (1989), "Poetry-spiritual relationship" (1989) , “Children of Eternity” (1990), “My Perfect Profession” (1991), “Sufism and Poetry” (1991), “Gazal Gulshani” (1991), “Khoja Arif Mohitobon” (1996), “Irfon and Perception ”(1998),“ Lessons of Sufism ”(2000),“ Ahmad Yassavi ”(2001),“ Who relies on what? ” (2006), “Faith and Creativity” (2007), “Return to Navoi” (Book 1, 2007), “The Courage of Abdullah Qahhor” (2007), “Fate and Thought” (2007), “Heritage and Essence” (2008), “Climate of Creativity” (2009), “Return to Navoi” (Book 2, 2011), about thirty books on the history of classical literature and important issues of modern literature, more than 300 scientific and popular science articles published. In 1997, the scientist was awarded the International Ahmad Yassavi Prize.
