Qodir baxshi (pseudonym; real name Abdi Rakhimov) (1937.16.4 - Chalka village of Dehkanabad district - 1986.29.8) - baxshi. Graduated from Bukhara Pedagogical Institute (1966). He first learned the secrets of baxshi from his grandfather Turdi baxshi. Later, Umir became a student of Safar's son. Kadyr Bakhshi, who became an independent poet at the age of 18, was surrounded by elderly bakhshis living in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the 1960s. His repertoire is rich and varied. "Alpomish", "Yodgor", "Kuntugumish", "Shirin bilan Shakar", "Rustam", "Murodkhan", "Yusuf bilan Ahmad", "Yusuf va Zulayho", "Goroglyin tugulishi", "Zaydinoy", "Gorogly and Yunus Pari "," Shahidnoma "and about 70 epics, many folk tales and fairy tales. But very few of the epics he knew and a few terms were recorded.
The Almighty Bakhshi was distinguished not only by the richness of his repertoire, but also by his pleasant, juicy voice, especially his ability to play musical instruments well. In addition to the drum, he skillfully played melodies on the dutar, rubob, tor, gijjak, and kobiz, reciting epics or national anthems, or, conversely, playing drums on other musical instruments. Kadyr Bakhshi is a five-time winner of the Republican Bakhshi Competition and a laureate of the International Congress of Folk Artists in Moscow (1971) and Paris (1974). Kadyr Bakhshi's epics "Oychinor" (1984), "Jorhun maston" (1989), excerpts and series from the epic "Norguloy" were published. There is a cinema and a school in his name. A house museum has been established in Dehkanabad.
