1. Purpose of the Monitoring System
The university has a system of continuous monitoring and periodic review in place to ensure the quality of educational programs. The main purpose of this system is to evaluate program effectiveness, eliminate identified shortcomings, and continuously improve the quality of education.
2. Monitoring Process
At the university, a regular monitoring system has been established to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and ensure their continuous improvement. Monitoring is conducted in the following main areas:
· Student results – grade dynamics, level of achievement in subjects, credit accumulation indicators, and dropout statistics;
· Student satisfaction level – students’ attitudes toward the educational process based on anonymous surveys conducted at the end of each semester;
· Graduates’ position in the labor market – employment rate, speed of job placement, and employers’ feedback;
· Academic workload and planning – volume of class hours, module workload, and distribution of internships and practical training;
· Teacher performance – student evaluations, research activities, publications, and professional development indicators;
· Adequacy of resources – richness of the library collection, laboratory equipment, and the condition of IT infrastructure.
The results of this monitoring are analyzed and serve as a basis for making decisions on updating educational programs, optimizing resources, and improving the quality of education.
3. Periodic Review
In order to ensure the quality and modern relevance of educational programs, the university has introduced the practice of fully reviewing them every 3–5 years. This process is comprehensive and includes the following stages:
· Participants – students, graduates, employers, industry specialists, and external experts are actively involved in the process;
· Regulatory compliance – the program content is updated in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), the standards of the European Higher Education Area (ESG), other relevant international regulatory requirements, and labor market needs;
· Content changes – decisions are made to introduce new subjects and modules, remove outdated or irrelevant modules, and optimize credit volumes;
· Final approval – the updated program is approved by the relevant faculty and university councils.
This periodic review mechanism continuously ensures the quality, flexibility, and compliance of educational programs with labor market requirements.
4. Analysis of Results and Reporting
The results of monitoring educational programs are summarized annually and compiled in an annual quality report. This report serves as the main source for evaluating the quality of education and making decisions for its further development.
· Presentation at the faculty level – at the end of each academic year, a detailed presentation on program effectiveness is conducted at the faculty council;
· Action Plan – based on the review results, a specific plan of measures aimed at improving program content, teaching methods, and optimizing resources is developed;
· Evaluation in the next monitoring cycle – the effectiveness and impact of the implemented changes are reassessed during the next monitoring period.
This mechanism serves to continuously improve program quality, base decisions on evidence, and maintain ongoing control of effectiveness.
5. Improvement Mechanisms
In order to continuously improve and modernize educational programs, the university applies the following improvement mechanisms:
· Changes based on feedback from students and employers – prompt and effective changes are made to program content based on received comments and suggestions;
· Recommendations of academic and methodological councils – interim adjustments are made to the curriculum based on recommendations provided by faculty- and university-level academic and methodological councils;
· Introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies – modern teaching methods, digital resources, and new assessment approaches are integrated into the program.
These mechanisms ensure the continuous updating of educational programs, their adaptation to students’ needs, and the improvement of education quality.
