DEAR COLLEAGUES!
We inform you that on October 2-4, 2025, Bukhara State University, in cooperation with the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov and Kazan Federal (Volga) University, plans to hold the International Forum "Russian Studies and Turkology: Literary Traditions, Cultural Transfer, and Translation", dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Bukhara State University. Specialists in the fields of linguistics and philology, intercultural and interethnic communication, translation studies, translators, teaching researchers, graduate students, and master's students are invited to participate in the forum. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the results and prospects of research in the fields of Russian studies and Turkology, as well as literary studies, linguistics, intercultural communication, language didactics, and translation studies. The forum will include a plenary session, poster presentations, and the following sections:
Section 1. Modern trends in the development of comparative literary studies in the context of folklore and national literature research. Section 2. The Russian language and Turkic languages in a multicultural space.
Section 3. Applied linguistics in the context of digitalization and modern scientific paradigms.
Section 4. Prospects for the study of Uzbek and Turkic linguistics and journalism.
Section 5. Cultural transfer and translation.
Section 6. Traditions, innovations, and technologies in language and literature teaching
Article formatting requirements (Forum languages: Russian, Uzbek, English):
Materials should be submitted in WORD format (from 3 to 5 A4 pages). Margins: 2 cm on all sides; font: Times New Roman, size 14. The title should be in uppercase letters, bold, size 14, centered. Below the title, in lowercase letters, the author's full name. After a space, the author's academic degree, title, and position. On the next line – the full name of the organization, city, and country. After a 1-line space, an abstract of no more than 200 characters (size 12 font), followed by keywords (5-8; size 12 font), and after another 1-line space, the main text (size 14 font, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, 1.5 cm paragraph indent, justified alignment). Bold and underlining are not allowed. Italics are recommended for emphasis. The bibliography should be in alphabetical order. Citations should be referenced in the text in square brackets, and sources should be listed in the bibliography (e.g., [1, p. 71]). It is mandatory to have references in the text for all sources listed in the bibliography. All articles must be strictly structured according to the forum’s thematic directions. If the formatting does not meet the above requirements, the article may be returned to the author. The originality of the submitted article must be at least 75% (a certificate of originality must be attached). Venue: Main building of Bukhara State University, Bukhara, M. Ikbol St., 11. Online participation is also possible. Links will be sent additionally.
Participation Fee: Articles from foreign participants are published free of charge; for participants from the Republic of Uzbekistan, the publication fee is 150,000 UZS. Submission Deadline: Articles must be submitted by September 15, 2025.
