He was born on February 1, 1960 in the village of Elabad, Romitan district, Bukhara region. In 1978, he entered the Faculty of Philology of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) and successfully graduated in 1983. In 1984-1986, he first worked as a teacher at the secondary general education school in Romitan district, then at the Bukhara College of Banking and Economics. From 1987 to the present, he has been working at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of Bukhara State University, first as a teacher (1987-2002), then as an associate professor (2003-2017), and now as a professor (since 2018). In 1991-1993, he studied at post-graduate studies, and in 2006-2009 at doctoral studies.
