Sharipov Odiljon Bafoyevich was born on March 30, 1979 in the Bukhara district of the Bukhara region in an intellectual family, his nationality is Uzbek. According to his education, in 1995-1999, he graduated from Bukhara State University with a bachelor's degree in Agrochemistry and Soil Science. In 1999-2001, he was a senior researcher at the Bukhara Branch of the Scientific Research Institute of Cultivation of Cereal Leguminous Crops in Irrigated Lands, and in 2001-2003 he graduated from the Bukhara State University with honors in the specialty of Soil Science.
In 2003-2012, he was a teacher of the department of agrochemistry and soil science of Bukhara State University, in 2012-2014 he was the deputy dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Bukhara State University for academic affairs, in 2014-2016 he was the dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Bukhara State University. In 2020-2021, he worked as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology of Bukhara State University. From June 10, 2021 until now, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Agronomy and Soil Science of Bukhara State University.
From October 1 to November 31, 2016, qualifications were improved in the direction of "Agrochemistry and Soil Science" at the PKKPMO network center at ToshDAU
From December 1 to December 31, 2019, qualifications were improved in the direction of "Agrochemistry and Soil Science" at the PKKPMO network center at ToshDAU

Scientific research includes directions for rational and effective use of land resources, assessment, mapping and soil-ecological monitoring, prevention of soil degradation processes, as well as development of measures aimed at maintaining and increasing soil fertility.
