In 1979 he graduated from the Historical Faculty of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute. In 1979-1990 he worked at the Bukhara State Museum as a senior researcher, head of the sector. Since September 1990, he has been working at the Department of History of Bukhara State University. In 2007, at the meeting of the specialized council D 015.14.01 at the Abu Rayhan Institute of Oriental Studies, Beruni defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “The role of the Jibor Khojas in the socio-political and spiritual cultural life of the Bukhara Khanate of the XVI-XVIII centuries.”
In 2018, he was awarded the Order of Friendship. The owner of the badges “20 years of independence of Uzbekistan”, “30 years of independence of Uzbekistan”. In 2020 he received the academic title of professor.
In the period from 1981 to 1990, he took part five times in the traditional international prestigious scientific conference in Moscow “Barthold Readings” with his lectures. He also made presentations at international scientific conferences and symposiums in such cities as Tashkent, Dushanbe, Turkestan (Kazakhstan), Ashgabat, Moscow, Tokyo-Tashkent, Ankara. In 2001-2009, he conducted a number of studies of the historical topography of Bukhara within the framework of projects announced by the French Institute for Central Asian Studies (IFEAC). The results of the study are published in a separate book, as well as on the website of this institute.
Over the years, he has authored more than two hundred scientific, popular science, more than a dozen books, brochures, three textbooks and one textbook.
