Bashorat Sattorovna Jamilova was born on January 5, 1968 in the village of Minglar, belonging to Kumushkent village council of Vobkent district, in a working family. In 1975-1985, he studied at the 4th general secondary school. In 1985-1986, he worked as a courier in the regional newspaper "Bukhara Haqikatii" (now "Bukharanoma"). In 1986-1991, he studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Tashkent State University (now UzMU). After completing it, in 1991-1994, he studied at the full-time graduate school at Bukhara State University. From 1994, he started working as a native language and literature teacher at the Preparatory Department of BukhSU, and from 1995, he worked as a teacher at the 20th century literature and folklore (now Uzbek philology) department of the Faculty of Philology. In 2004, under the guidance of professor O. Safarov, he defended his candidate's dissertation on the topic "Development principles of Uzbek children's journalism", and in 2022, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Renewal of poetic thinking in children's literature". In 2006-2022, he worked as an associate professor and professor at the Departments of Language and Literature, Primary Education of Bukhara State University. Currently, he is a professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics and Journalism. More than 150 scientific-methodical articles, about 10 methodological, educational manuals, monographs, textbooks and pamphlets of B. Jamilova have been published.
The place of advanced training was at the Network Center of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, 2018 (from September 3 to October 31).
