The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uktam Salomov, visited Bukhara State University and became acquainted with the university’s achievements in robotics and innovation.
During the visit, accompanied by the Rector, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, he reviewed the activities of the modern robotics training center RobotsAndMe operating within the university. It was emphasized that the center is emerging as a leading innovation platform not only regionally but also nationwide.
The advanced laboratory facilities, practical training areas, and innovative robotic systems developed by students made a strong impression on the visitors. Notably, the center’s students and specialists have achieved success in international and global robotics competitions.
Uktam Salomov highly praised the students’ engineering mindset, creativity, and technological capacity, highlighting the university’s robotics ecosystem as a model practice. He also provided recommendations on further development, support for startup projects, and commercialization of innovations.
It is worth noting that the consistent efforts in robotics at Bukhara State University contribute not only to enhancing students’ scientific and technical potential but also to preparing globally competitive specialists in the field of innovation.
