A festive event titled “Respect for Women is Respect for the Nation” was held at Bukhara State University on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The event was opened by the Rector of the university, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, who warmly congratulated female scholars, staff members, and students actively participating in the scientific, cultural, and social life of the university on this celebration of beauty and grace.
In his speech, the Rector solemnly read out the congratulatory message addressed to the women of the country by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The President’s high regard for women and the large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening their role and status in society inspired a sense of pride and festive spirit among the participants.
During the event, musical performances, artistic presentations, and festive stage performances dedicated to honoring women created a memorable celebratory atmosphere for all attendees.
