From January 27 to 30, the Uzbekistan Athletics Championship among youth and adults is being held in the Andijan region. Student-athletes of Bukhara State University are successfully competing in this prestigious national event, demonstrating strong performances from the very first day.
According to the results of the opening day, the university team achieved the following distinctions:
Zayniddin Ravshanov — gold medal in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.21 seconds, securing the title of absolute winner of the event;
Zayniddin Ravshanov, Mirzo Zoirov, and Aslbek Radjabov — silver medal in the 4×400-meter relay with a result of 3:32.78;
Aslbek Radjabov — bronze medal in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:01.84.
The championship competitions are currently ongoing in Andijan. Bukhara State University expresses confidence in the continued strong performance of its athletes and wishes them further success and new victories in the upcoming events.
