A ceremonial opening of the “Robots and Kids” preschool educational institution, established under Bukhara State University, was held. The event was attended by the Governor of Bukhara Region Botir Zaripov, Head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs Colonel Ikromjon Tursunov, Regional Prosecutor and Senior Justice Adviser Ulugbek Khamdamov, Deputy Governor for Youth Policy, Social Development and Spiritual-Educational Affairs Bakhtiyor Adilov, veterans of internal affairs bodies, representatives of partner organizations, district administration officials, and students of Bukhara State University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Governor emphasized the importance of establishing such an innovative preschool in an era marked by the rapid development of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
“Today, artificial intelligence is developing at an unprecedented pace worldwide. In such a time, the opening of preschools that help form modern knowledge and skills in children from an early age is truly encouraging. At the same time, we must not forget our national traditions, values, and culture. I wish the students of Bukhara State University success in their academic pursuits and sincerely congratulate everyone on the upcoming New Year,” said Governor Botir Zaripov.
During the event, guests became closely acquainted with the preschool’s educational and upbringing processes, the conditions created, safety requirements, and innovative approaches implemented. New Year gifts were also presented to the children.
For reference, the “Robots and Kids” preschool provides education in 11 subjects starting from the age of three. The institution is designed to accommodate 50 children. The educational process is based on a proprietary modern methodology aimed at developing not only knowledge, but also thinking, analytical, and creative skills.
Children at the preschool gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:
reading and writing;
critical and logical thinking;
fundamentals of robotics and engineering;
architecture and design;
gymnastics and physical development;
mathematics and English (through play).
Each child’s psychological well-being and individual development are given continuous attention. Qualified psychologists, speech therapists, and specialists work systematically at the institution. Through fairy-tale therapy, creative games, and experiential activities, children’s inner world and emotional stability are strengthened.
In addition, children engage in:
robotics and LEGO construction;
music and dance;
children’s yoga and Baby Fitness;
creating models through the “Architecture and Design” course.
The preschool provides parents with online video monitoring, three healthy meals per day, and a safe, caring environment.
The “Robots and Kids” preschool is not only an innovative educational center, but also a real employment platform for BukhSU graduates and students. Graduates and 3rd–4th year students specializing in psychology, robotics, and preschool education, as well as members of the BukhSU Robotics Center, have been employed, creating more than 20 new jobs.
The educational and upbringing process is carried out on the basis of modern pedagogical and innovative methodologies, fostering in children not only knowledge and technological skills, but also love for the Motherland, respect for national values, and independent thinking. This initiative represents an important step toward laying the foundation of the Third Renaissance beginning with preschool education and nurturing an intellectually advanced, modern-minded generation.
