A strategically significant regional meeting was held at Bukhara State University. This dialogue focused on enhancing Bukhara’s international prestige, promoting its cultural heritage on a global scale, and elevating relations with the Bukharian Jewish community in the United States to a new level.
The meeting was attended by Botirjon Zavkiddinovich Shaxriyorov, Deputy Governor of the Bukhara Region for Tourism, Culture, Cultural Heritage, and Mass Communications; Rafael Nektalov, Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious "The Bukharian Times" newspaper published in New York and Chairman of the Bukharian Jewish Writers' Association; and Professor Obidjon Khafizovich Khamidov, Rector of Bukhara State University. During the discussion, priority areas of tripartite cooperation were addressed in detail, including the extensive coverage of Bukhara's rich tourism potential within the U.S. media space, the scientific research of cultural heritage sites, and the strengthening of international mass communication systems.
This meeting served as a clear reflection of the promising cooperation between the Bukhara regional administration, the academic institution, and the international media community.
