The first forum of rectors of Uzbek and German universities aimed at strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and German higher education institutions was held in Berlin. On behalf of Bukhara State University, vice-rector for international cooperation Abror Jorayev and head of the department of German philology Yarash Roziyev took part in the prestigious event.
Within the forum, important agreements were reached for our university and a number of achievements were recognized:
Cooperation with the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences: within the framework of the Erasmus+ loan mobility project, 7 professors and students will be exchanged on the basis of a grant in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Agreement with the ACQUIN agency: an agreement was signed to continue cooperation with the ACQUIN international accreditation agency. According to him, BuxDU and ACQUIN will organize advisory seminars on accreditation for HEIs of Uzbekistan.
Special recognition: Our university was the first in Uzbekistan to receive a certificate of thanks for successfully accrediting 16 educational programs and providing consultative support to other HEIs.
The forum also discussed strategic issues such as expansion of joint education programs, development of internships and internships in Germany, and support for scientific research projects.
This forum serves as an important platform for strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries and implementing new projects.
