Bukhara State University Youth Union “BuxDU Volunteer Center” on the initiative of the Society of the Blind in cooperation with the Council of the Bukhara region November 13 - "World Day for the Protection of the Rights of the Blind" in connection with “Kindness, attention and opportunity— for all of us!” the event was held under the slogan.
The event started with the performance of the anthem of the visually impaired. The event was opened by Dilshod Yavmutov, the first vice-rector of Bukhara State University for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Affairs. Also, Panjiyev Shakir, head of Tiflomarket of Uzbekistan, who is participating in today's exhibition with his products, gave a speech and gave information about his organization. During the event, a video dedicated to people who see the world with their hearts was shown.
At the end of the event, creative performances gave everyone a festive mood — Anora Ramazonova, Bakhtiyor Fayziyev and “Nurli Maskan” The students of the school got on the stage and expressed their feelings of love and hope through sincere songs. After that, the representative of the Special Visually Impaired Library of the Republic of Uzbekistan spoke and informed about the activities of the library and the conditions created for citizens with disabilities.
Jalil Rahmatov, chairman of the Bukhara region branch of the Society of the Blind of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also spoke and expressed sincere gratitude to Dilshodjon Toymurodov, a doctoral student of BukhSU, and the university team, who closely supported the implementation of this noble initiative. Also, the chairman of the Vobkent District Society for the Blind, Ulugbek Tokhtayev, thanked his former teacher, Feruz Karimov, representative of BukhSU, and handed over a letter of thanks.
