November 11 – On the occasion of the Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and the 120th anniversary of Trade Unions, a festive event was organized at Bukhara State University.
The event started in the main lobby of the university under the sound of national music and songs and opened with the performance of the national anthem. The event was opened by Dilshod Yavmutov, the first vice-rector of Bukhara State University for Youth Affairs and Educational Affairs. In his speech, he spoke about the role of the trade union system in protecting the interests of workers and the opportunities created for employees.
R. Nosirova, the responsible organizer for the Bukhara Region of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Employees of Uzbekistan, spoke and congratulated the team of BukhSU on the holiday and informed about the active initiatives being implemented in the region.
During the event, BuxDU leadership presented to R. Nosirova “BuxDU 95th anniversary” medallion was handed over. Also, Chairman of the University Trade Union Committee Bakhtiyor Qabilov “Academic of Higher Education” and “120th Anniversary of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan” was awarded with commemorative breast badges.
This commemorative breast badge was also awarded to the delegate of the 9th Congress of Trade Unions, university electrician Nadir Narzulloyevich Rakhimov. In addition, a group of professors and employees were awarded with a letter of thanks from the trade union and souvenirs.
