BUKHARA STATE UNIVERSITY IS ESTABLISHING COOPERATIVE RELATIONS WITH JAPAN'S KYOTO UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN SCIENCES

"University to University" within the 5th forum of rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Japan, which is ongoing in Samarkand. (U2U) meetings were organized. In these meetings, the rector of Bukhara State University, doctor of economics, prof. Obidjon Khamidov and Head of the International Cooperation Department of BuxDU Sh.Kh.Sharofiddinov held a meeting with Professor Kondo Naoki, Vice President of the prestigious Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in Japan.

 

During the conversation, the parties discussed the issues of establishing mutual cooperation between the two higher educational institutions. In particular, an agreement was reached to attract a qualified Japanese language teacher to teach Japanese as a second foreign language at Bukhara State University, as well as to organize professors and students exchange programs.

 

This meeting was recognized as one of the important steps towards further development of strategic cooperation in the field of education between Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as increasing the prestige of Bukhara State University in the international educational space.
