Bukhara State University hosted a festive ceremony to mark the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The event was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including Professor Dr. Abira Amanovna, Regional Representative of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Bukhara region; Professor Dr. Siddiq Qahhorov, Doctor of Pedagogy and recipient of the First Degree “Mehnat Shuhrati” medal; Azamat Naimov, Head of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation; Professor Mukhtor Amonov, recipient of the “Shuhrat” Medal; and Muhammad Ahmedov, Head of the “Muhammad Ismat” farming enterprise. The guests warmly congratulated the newly admitted first-year students and their parents, wishing them success in their studies and future endeavors.
During the ceremony, letters of appreciation were awarded to students who achieved the highest admission score of 189 points.
