The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Turkmenistan and his meetings with the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, hold great importance in the history of our country’s foreign policy.
The President’s participation in the meetings in the city of Turkmenbashi, the trilateral summit in the “Azerbaijan - Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan” format, the joint statement adopted, and the agreements signed serve not only to strengthen friendship and brotherhood between our states but also to elevate stability, development, and cooperation throughout the region to a new stage.
Within the framework of this visit, important agreements were signed aimed at expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, transport, energy, trade, science, and culture. These agreements will create great opportunities for future generations. The achievements of our President in foreign policy are further enhancing Uzbekistan’s international standing and strengthening the country’s role as a reliable partner in regional and global affairs.
The community of Bukhara State University welcomes this historic visit with deep respect and pride. Indeed, the foreign policy initiatives of our President are opening wide opportunities for education and science as well. In this context, we strive to further develop cooperation with universities of our brotherly countries, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, through joint projects, research collaborations, and academic exchanges of professors and students.
It is worth emphasizing that Bukhara State University pays special attention to expanding international cooperation. Today, our university actively works with many prestigious scientific and educational institutions around the world. The agreements and documents signed during the President’s visit also open new horizons for us.
