On August 12–13, 2025, experts from ACQUIN — the Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute of Germany visited Bukhara State University. As part of their visit, the quality of education at the university, its internal evaluation system, and compliance with international standards are being assessed.
The process was carried out through meetings with the university’s leadership, faculty deans, department heads, chairs of academic departments, and students. During these discussions, important aspects of the accreditation process were addressed — including the preparation of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR), alignment of academic programs with international requirements, and the improvement of the quality assurance system.
Additionally, as part of the visit, the ACQUIN delegation, accompanied by Ziyodulla Nurov, Head of the Department for Quality Control of Education, toured the university’s modern IT center, advanced robotics center, and state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory, becoming acquainted with their activities.
This international accreditation process serves to enhance the global competitiveness of Bukhara state university, further improve the quality of education, and strengthen its position in the global academic arena.
