Kazan, July 3, 2025— From July 3 to 5, undergraduate students of Bukhara State University (BSU), studying under the joint “3+1” educational program with the Institute of Management, Economics, and Finance at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (KFU), are defending their final qualification papers.
The soon-to-be graduates majoring in Enterprise and Organizational Economics have reached the final stage of their studies, presenting their theses within the walls of one of Russia’s leading universities. The final, fourth year of their education was completed at KFU, where they immersed themselves in the academic and professional environment of the Russian higher education system.
The “3+1” program is a unique example of the integration of the educational systems of two countries. Students spend the first three years studying in Bukhara and the final year in Kazan, where they continue their core studies, participate in research projects, and adapt to international academic standards.
The theses presented covered a wide range of topics in organizational economics—from strategies for improving business efficiency to financial risk analysis and the implementation of digital solutions in management practices. Students demonstrated a serious research approach and strong practical orientation in their projects.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive two state-recognized diplomas—one from Bukhara State University and one from Kazan Federal University. This significantly broadens their career prospects, both in Uzbekistan and abroad.
The thesis defense at KFU is not only an academic milestone but also an important step towards personal and professional growth. Graduates of the joint program stand as a vivid example of how international educational partnerships open new horizons for youth development and professional fulfillment.
