Master’s thesis defenses are actively continuing at Kazan Federal University as part of the joint educational program implemented in collaboration with Bukhara State University. On July 2, the second day of thesis defenses was held in the "Economics" major, specifically under the profile “Economics and Management of Organizations: Sectoral Approach.”
Graduate students presented research that addressed practical management issues across various sectors of the economy — including industry, agriculture, logistics, and services. Key topics featured prominently in their work included the digitalization of management processes, improving enterprise efficiency, ensuring sustainable development at the sectoral level, and developing anti-crisis strategies.
The defining feature of the defended theses was their strong practical orientation. Many projects were based on real company operations and included detailed calculations, in-depth analysis, and actionable recommendations suitable for real-world application.
During their presentations, students demonstrated solid theoretical knowledge, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to critically assess complex management challenges. Their presentations were logically structured, well-argued, and supported by credible evidence.
The joint degree program between KFU and BukhSU not only offers students the opportunity to earn dual diplomas but also provides a robust foundation for training highly qualified economists who meet the demands of both national and international labor markets. The ongoing defenses clearly show that these young specialists possess deep sectoral knowledge and practical competencies, making them well-prepared for effective professional engagement in their chosen fields.
