Last year, Bukhara State University was placed in the 1001–1500 bracket. This year, with a score of 66.7, the university has risen to the 601–800 group, ranking 7th among higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and 1st in the Bukhara region.

The 2025 edition of the THE Impact Rankings assessed the performance of 2,389 universities worldwide.
