In accordance with clause 6.2 of Order No. 314 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated August 20, 2024, titled “On Ensuring the Participation of Higher Education Institutions in the Socio-Economic Development of Regions”, it was decided that mobile seminars would be held monthly to support local entrepreneurship. These seminars aim to assist in modernizing production and services, developing new sectors, and increasing regional economic potential.
As part of this initiative, members of the Council for Supporting the Socio-Economic Development of the Bukhara Region visited Romitan District on June 19 and held a mobile seminar. The mayor of Romitan delivered a detailed presentation on the region’s transformation, its rapid economic development programs, and ongoing projects. His speech was supplemented with videos and presentations.
The district governor also highlighted recreational, entrepreneurial, and economic facilities that are about to be launched. Special emphasis was placed on the historical entrepreneurial spirit of Romitan and the current opportunities available to its youth.
These mobile seminars are set to continue in December, further contributing to the district’s economic growth.
