Assistant to the UN Secretary-General on Youth Affairs Visits Bukhara State University

Dr. Felipe Paullier, Assistant to the United Nations Secretary-General on Youth Affairs, together with Alisher Sadullayev, Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, paid a visit to Bukhara State University to get acquainted with the university’s facilities and ongoing activities.

The university leadership, headed by Rector Obidjon Khamidov, warmly welcomed the guests. They toured the exhibitions organized in the university’s main foyer for the “Open Doors Day-2025” event. Dr. Felipe Paullier received detailed answers from experts to his questions regarding the exhibition.

During the visit, the guests also became familiar with the activities of the Office Registrar. They attended the Republican scientific-practical conference on “Modern Methods of Teaching in Specialized Maqom Schools in the Glory of the New Uzbekistan” and shared their views.

The guests toured the university’s Information Resource Center and expressed their appreciation. They also visited the Bukhara State University Museum and left their thoughts in the guestbook.

A meeting was held in the university’s small conference hall between Dr. Felipe Paullier, Alisher Sadullayev, and the university’s student youth.

The meeting was organized in an open dialogue format where young participants asked questions about current youth movements, changes in the media field, and methods to inspire young researchers. Dr. Felipe Paullier and Alisher Sadullayev highlighted international opportunities created for youth, ongoing projects, and support for young researchers.

At the conclusion of the visit, Rector Obidjon Khamidov presented commemorative gifts to the guests and expressed gratitude on behalf of the university community.
