The leadership and a group of professors from the Foreign Languages Faculty are currently on an official visit to Turkey.
During the trip, a meeting was organized with professors and the rector, Dr. Cem Zorlu, of Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya, Turkey. The meeting focused on discussing sustainable cooperation opportunities between the two universities, as well as bilateral collaboration within TÜBİTAK and Erasmus+ programs.
Nozimjon Ataboyev, Dean of the Foreign Languages Faculty, conveyed greetings from Bukhara State University Rector Prof. Obidjon Khafizovich Khamidov to Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Dr. Cem Zorlu and extended an invitation to the university’s 95th anniversary celebrations. Following this, department heads Z.I. Rasulov and D.I. Khodjayeva, along with professors M.B. Akhmedova and Kh.Sh. Saidov, expressed their gratitude for the reception and shared thoughts about future plans.
Additionally, delegations from the Faculties of Social Sciences, Tourism, Pedagogical Studies, and others closely examined the academic processes, achievements, and experiences with the Credit Module System. Meetings with graduating students were arranged, and the delegation also participated in graduation ceremonies.
By the end of the visit, bilateral cooperation plans were agreed upon. These include joint publication of articles in prestigious Scopus and Web of Science journals, organizing joint lectures, student and faculty exchanges, and co-hosting international conferences.
Currently, the delegation is in Istanbul, with a planned visit to Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University on the agenda.
