Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Komil Muqimovich Muqimov paid a visit to Bukhara State University and held a meeting with the university’s rector, Obidjon Xamidov.
The meeting was also attended by Professor Siddiq Qahhorov from the Department of Geophysics, Renewable Energy Sources, and Electronics. During the discussion, the parties focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of science, launching joint projects in fundamental and applied research, and expanding collaboration.
Particular attention was given to the scientific research conducted at the university, international publications of faculty members, innovative work involving young scientists, and the activities of scientific laboratories. Achievements in physics and mathematics, especially the integration of modern technologies, international conferences, and grant projects were also highlighted.
Plans were outlined to enhance scientific potential, develop the doctoral training system, expand academic exchange programs, and establish joint scientific centers. This meeting is expected to mark a new stage in the scientific life of the university.
“Meeting of Three Generations” Event with Academician Komil Muqimovich Muqimov
An event titled “Meeting of Three Generations” was held with the participation of Academician Muqimov in the Bukhara State University assembly hall. The event brought together representatives from three generations involved in science, education, and spirituality.
The event was opened by Bukhara State University Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Obidjon Khamidovich Khamidov, who acknowledged Academician Muqimov’s great contributions to the development of science and emphasized the important educational and scientific significance of such meetings for the younger generation.
During the event, Academician Muqimov held an open and sincere dialogue with the university community. He shared insights about his scientific career, his work at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, his attention to young researchers, and his future plans. He also stressed the importance of engaging youth in modern scientific research and supporting their initiatives.
A video dedicated to the life and work of the professor was presented. Following this, Professor Siddiq Qahhorov, head of the Council of Elders, Doctor of Pedagogy, and a disciple of the academician, shared warm memories and high praise of him.
A question-and-answer session was organized where Academician Muqimov thoroughly responded to questions from young people and faculty members.
At the conclusion of the event, Rector Obidjon Xamidov expressed sincere gratitude to Academician Muqimov and reaffirmed the university’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Academy of Sciences further.
